ECN: Session 6 - Week 1 - Scenario 5 - Activity 8:
Guard The Treasure:
Objective:
To experience how difficult life
could be without trustworthiness.
Experience :
Students
are very well known with the fact that:
"Trustworthy people are respectful. Trustworthy people respect themselves and others,
too. Trustworthy people possess good manners and strong values".
During the game students & I experience the
following:
Mostly
all members got the chance to snatch the treasure. While guarding the treasure obviously
we feel that no one should snatch the treasure & we try our best for the
same. But when we have to snatch the treasure, we misguide the guarder &
try to snatch the treasure when guarder is not noticing us. In both cases, we
are happy if successful. If not successful, then tries with other ideas to be
successful. In our daily life, we should take care of our own things &
should not try to snatch other's property (includes everything).
When your team trusts you as a leader, it increases
commitment to team goals. Communication improves, and ideas flow more freely,
increasing creativity and productivity. Perhaps most important, in the hands of a trusted leader, employees are more comfortable with change and more willing to embrace a new vision. We all believe that no relationship is successful without trust, without honesty. Self-respect and being trustworthy are the most important things in friendship. An honest with friends stands with you at every stage of life. Trustworthiness and honesty develops positive relationship.
